Reinforcement
The Reinforcement is a hull module that strengthens the base by adding +3 hull integrity around the installation point, allowing you to push your seabase into deeper and more dangerous biomes.

Quick Info
Description
The Reinforcement is a structural module that attaches to the side, ceiling, or floor of any base module. Each Reinforcement adds +3 hull integrity to the surrounding area, which counters the negative hull integrity of deep-water biomes. It is the single most important module for any deep-water base.
How to Build
Build a Reinforcement with the Habitat Builder by selecting it from the base parts menu and highlighting any wall, ceiling, or floor of a base module. Confirm placement; the Reinforcement snaps into the base.
- 1x Titanium
- 1x Lead
What it Does
Reinforcement is the backbone of deep-water bases. Stack multiple Reinforcements on different modules to keep your hull integrity positive even in the Lost River or Lava Zone.
Hull Integrity +3
Adds +3 hull integrity per Reinforcement, countering deep-water negative integrity.
Leak Prevention
Stops base flooding in deep-water biomes where negative integrity would otherwise cause leaks.
Stackable
Apply multiple Reinforcements to a single base to reach extremely deep biomes safely.
Base Integration
Plan the Reinforcement distribution before building a deep base. Place at least one on each side of Multipurpose Rooms and Foundations to keep hull integrity balanced.
Foundation
Reinforce Foundation slabs that touch deep-water terrain to stop ground leaks.

Reinforce Moonpool supports so docked vehicles stay inside a stable pressure envelope.
Vehicle synergyObservatory

Frequently Asked Questions
What does Reinforcement do in Subnautica 2?
A Reinforcement is a hull module that adds +3 hull integrity to the base around its installation point, helping resist deep-water pressure. Stack multiple Reinforcements to push into deeper biomes.
How much does a Reinforcement cost?
A Reinforcement costs 1x Titanium and 1x Lead, and is built with the Habitat Builder. Lead is mined from sandstone outcrops in deeper biomes.
Do I need Reinforcement for deep bases?
Yes, deep bases built below the default hull integrity threshold will leak without Reinforcement modules attached. Check the HUD hull integrity indicator while planning your build.
