Description

The Hatch is your seabase's doorway. Mounted on the wall of a Corridor or Multipurpose Room, it lets you swim up and pass through into your base without taking on water. Every functional base needs at least one Hatch so you can get in and out. The Quartz component forms the reinforced viewport, while Titanium frames the pressure-rated seal.

How to Craft

Hatches are built with the Habitat Builder. Aim at a valid wall on a Corridor or Multipurpose Room and select the Hatch to mount it. You'll need Quartz from sandstone outcrops and Titanium from limestone.

What it Does

Underwater Entry / Exit

Pass in and out of your base without flooding the interior.

Reinforced Viewport

Quartz window lets you see outside while staying sealed.

Pressure-Rated Seal

Keeps water out at depth when properly mounted.

Base Integration

The Hatch mounts on other base parts to form a functional seabase. Here's how it fits into the larger build.
