Vehicle Loadout Optimizer

Build optimal module combinations for the Seamoth, Prawn Suit, and Cyclops. 30+ modules with live compatibility checks, depth calculator, and 3 quick-start presets tuned for early, mid, and late-game progression.

How it works: Pick a vehicle tab, drag modules from the library into its slots, and watch the KPI panel update in real time. Compatibility issues flash red; depth targets show which vehicles can reach your dive site. Save your favorite combinations and export as JSON.

Frequently Asked Questions

How are module compatibility conflicts detected?

A declarative rule set evaluates every pair of equipped modules. Two rules per vehicle: (1) power-source conflicts — Solar Charger cannot coexist with Thermal Reactor on the same vehicle because they alternate which is active in their respective domains, and (2) weight conflicts — Hull Plating + Storage Module together reduce maneuverability below safe thresholds. Warnings (yellow) flag soft conflicts like two Depth Modules where Mk3 already dominates Mk1.

How accurate are the depth and power numbers?

Base vehicle depths and power drains are from EA patch 0.1.0.0 community testing. Module bonuses follow the formula base + sum(module bonus). The Cyclops depth shown is the standard Cyclops without moonpool upgrades. Verify against the in-game fabricator if you see drift — patches rebalance these values frequently.

Can I share loadouts with friends?

Yes. Use Export JSON to download every saved loadout as a portable file. Friends can use Import JSON to load them locally. Loadouts are also stored in your browser's localStorage under the key sn2_vehicle_loadouts, so back them up before clearing browser data.

What does the "Speed Index" mean?

A normalized score where 100 is the stock vehicle speed. Ultra Glide Fins (Seamoth) boost it, while heavy modules like Hull Plating and additional Depth Modules stack weight penalties. It's a rough composite — actual in-game speed depends on water currents and whether you're ascending or descending.

Wrong module stats or missing options?

Module values are tuned for the current EA patch. Report mismatches and we'll update the database.
