Corridor (X-Tunnel)
The Corridor (X-Tunnel) is the primary connecting passage in Subnautica 2 seabases, linking rooms and foundations into a navigable base layout.
Quick Info
Description
The Corridor (also called the X-Tunnel) is the hallway that ties your seabase together. Snap it between Foundations and Multipurpose Rooms to create walkable paths between modules. Corridors are cheap to build but each one slightly reduces hull integrity, so plan your layout and reinforce as you expand.
How to Craft
Corridors are built with the Habitat Builder. Once you have a Foundation placed, aim at one of its connection points and select the Corridor to snap it into place.

What it Does
The Corridor is the connective tissue of your base. It lets you move between rooms and forms the spine of larger base layouts.
Connects Rooms
Links Foundations and Multipurpose Rooms into one walkable base.
Hull Integrity −1
Each Corridor slightly reduces integrity. Reinforce as you expand.
Supports Hatches
Hatches can be mounted on Corridor walls for underwater entry.
Base Integration
The Corridor connects to other base parts to form a functional seabase. Here's how it fits into the larger build.
Foundation
Corridors snap onto Foundations to extend your base outward from a stable platform.
Starting anchorMultipurpose Room
Run Corridors between rooms to create a multi-room base with dedicated stations.
Room linkerHatch
Mount a Hatch on a Corridor wall to create an underwater entrance to your base.

Map Locations
Corridors are built rather than found. Use the interactive map to scout flat, defensible seafloor where you can lay out Foundations and connect them with Corridors.

What does a Corridor do in Subnautica 2?
A Corridor connects rooms and foundations, letting you walk between base modules. It costs 1x Titanium but reduces hull integrity by 1, so you'll want to reinforce as your base grows.
How much does a Corridor cost to build?
Each Corridor costs 1x Titanium, crafted with the Habitat Builder once you have a Foundation. It's one of the cheapest structural parts, making it easy to expand your base layout.
Does a Corridor hurt hull integrity?
Yes. Each Corridor adds -1 to hull integrity, so reinforce your base with Foundations and Reinforcement panels as you expand. A long corridor chain can quickly drain your integrity budget if left unsupported.
