Repair Tool
Repair damaged vehicles, base modules, and equipment. Indispensable after creature attacks or hull breaches.
Quick Info
How to Craft
The Repair Tool is crafted at the Fabricator using Titanium, Silicone, and Copper. The Copper is used to craft a Battery that powers the tool. Silicone is a prerequisite component, so make sure you have already refined Quartz into Silicone before attempting this craft.
Materials Needed
- 1x Titanium
- 1x Silicone
- 1x Copper (for Battery)
Titanium and Copper come from Limestone Outcrops. Silicone is refined from Quartz at the Fabricator.
Crafted At
Fabricator
Open the Fabricator in your lifepod and navigate to Tools › Repair Tool. The Battery is crafted first from Copper, then combined with Titanium and Silicone.
What it Does
The Repair Tool restores hull integrity to vehicles, base modules, and damaged equipment. Aim at any damaged object and hold the trigger to weld it back to full health. It runs on a replaceable Battery, so keep a spare on hand during long expeditions. After a Leviathan attack or a hull breach, this tool can mean the difference between survival and a watery grave.
Repair Vehicles
Restore full hull integrity to the Seamoth, Prawn Suit, and other vehicles after attacks.
Fix Base Leaks
Seal hull breaches in your base modules to stop flooding and restore power flow.
Restore Equipment
Patch up damaged tools and survival gear to extend their usable lifespan.
Upgrades
The Repair Tool itself does not have a direct upgrade path, but its effectiveness scales with the battery powering it. Upgrading to higher-capacity batteries lets you complete more repairs before needing a swap or recharge, which is critical during extended deep-dive expeditions.
High-Capacity Battery
More repairs per charge for longer field operations.
Power Cell Upgrade
Advanced power source for extended repair sessions without swaps.

Frequently Asked Questions
How to get the Repair Tool?
Craft it at the Fabricator using 1x Titanium, 1x Silicone, and 1x Copper (for the battery). The Silicone is a prerequisite component, refined from Quartz at the Fabricator. Titanium and Copper both come from Limestone Outcrops in the shallows. Craft this early — you will need it long before your first vehicle.
Can I repair my Seamoth?
Yes. The Repair Tool fully repairs vehicle hull damage, including the Seamoth, Prawn Suit, and Cyclops. Simply equip the tool, aim at the damaged vehicle, and hold the repair button until the hull is restored. This works underwater and on land, making it essential after any hostile encounter.
Does the Repair Tool break?
The Repair Tool itself does not break, but it consumes battery power with each use. When the battery is depleted, simply swap it for a fresh one or recharge it at a power source. Carry spare batteries on long expeditions so you are never caught without repairs after an attack.
