Quick Info
Description
The Cyclops Sonar Module is a long-range passive sonar designed for the Cyclops submarine. It pings the surrounding water and surface, marking creatures and resource outcrops on the pilot's HUD. Most importantly, it triggers proximity alerts when leviathan-class fauna approach, giving you warning time to power down engines and let them lose interest, or steer toward a known safe corridor.

What does the Cyclops Sonar Module do?
It detects creatures and resources at long range around the Cyclops, marking them on the HUD and alerting the pilot to nearby leviathans. Leviathan proximity triggers a clear audio warning so you can react in time.
Does the Cyclops Sonar work at all depths?
Yes, the sonar is functional at any reachable depth, making it ideal for Lost River and Lava Zone expeditions. Bring a Cyclops Thermal Reactor so the sonar can run for hours without draining main power cells.
Where do I find the Cyclops Sonar blueprint?
The blueprint is acquired from data boxes inside Cyclops wreckage scattered across deep biomes and from the Gamer's Retreat habitat area. Scan each wreck you find for fragments to fill out the upgrade library.
