Radiation Suit
Essential protective gear that shields you from radiation damage near the Aurora crash site and other radioactive zones. Without it, extended exploration of the crash site is impossible.
Quick Info
How to Craft
The Radiation Suit is crafted at the Fabricator using Fiber Mesh and Lead. Fiber Mesh is woven from Creepvine Seed Clusters harvested in kelp forests. Lead is obtained from limestone outcrops.
Materials Needed
- 2x Fiber Mesh
- 2x Lead
Each Fiber Mesh requires 6x Creepvine Seed Clusters. Lead is found in limestone outcrops.

What it Does
The Radiation Suit provides complete protection from radiation damage in the zone surrounding the Aurora wreck. This is essential for exploring the ship's interior, recovering blueprints, and accessing advanced technology. The suit occupies the body slot but does not interfere with other equipment.
Full Radiation Protection
Eliminates all radiation damage near the Aurora crash site and radioactive biomes.
Aurora Exploration
Required for exploring the Aurora wreck interior and recovering PDA data and blueprints.
Body Slot
Occupies the body equipment slot. Can be swapped with other suits when outside radiation zones.

When do I need the Radiation Suit?
You need it before approaching the Aurora crash site. The ship's reactor leaks radiation in a large radius around the wreck. Without the suit, you will take continuous radiation damage that quickly becomes lethal. Craft it as soon as you plan to explore the Aurora.
Can I swim through radiation without the suit?
You can pass through the edge of the radiation zone quickly, taking moderate damage. However, you cannot explore the Aurora interior or linger in the zone without the suit. First Aid Kits can help recover from brief exposure but are not a sustainable strategy.
What materials are needed for the Radiation Suit?
You need 2x Fiber Mesh and 2x Lead. Each Fiber Mesh requires 6x Creepvine Seed Clusters from kelp forests. Lead is obtained by breaking limestone outcrops in shallow waters. The total material cost is 12 Creepvine Seeds and 2 Lead.
